This is THE dress of the 1980's: Princess Diana's wedding dress. Made of ivory silk taffeta, antique lace, 10,000 pearls and with a 25 ft train, it was a closely guarded secret with another wedding dress in ready if the design was leaked out. In 2014 the dress was given to William and Harry on Harry's 30th birthday along with her other belongings as was Diana's wish. Wedding dresses of the 80's copied the large puffy sleeves, full skirt and ruffles.It is over the top compared with today's designs but don't you just love it?
