NHL.com, the official website of the National Hockey League and the leading online community for hockey fans, once again will feature exclusive blogs written by celebrities from television, movies and music during the Stanley Cupâ„¢ Playoffs. For the third straight year, celebrity fans will share their love of hockey, impressions of their favorite team’s performance and their predictions, all while giving fans a glimpse inside their worlds.

Actors David Boreanaz (“Bones”), Dave Annable (“Brothers & Sisters”) and Eddie Cahill (“CSI: NY”) are veteran bloggers for NHL.com, who have been chronicling their favorite teams since the program’s inception in 2007. I just found this video today, featuring Eddie being interviewed during a hockey game. It was done in Staples Center, a very know arena located in Los Angeles, during a LA Kings game.

Actually, it’s actor Eddie Cahill, who played the U.S. goaltender in the 2004 movie, Miracle. No word if Dean Lombardi has floated an offer to him to play in goal for the Kings.

Cahill, who now stars in CSI: NY, was on hand to see the Red Wings come from behind to defeat the Kings in a shootout. A lifelong Rangers fan, Eddie also had a blog over on NHL.com last season. Not too sure if he’s picking up where he left off last season. Then again, he seems to have his plate full now, solving crimes alongside Gary Sinise.
