“That’s right,” says CSI: NY executive producer Peter Lenkov. “We lose a member of our family [in the season finale] — and that’s just in the first 10 minutes.”
The other 50 minutes of the hour will probably be pretty killer, too. Leading up to it is episode 5.22, titled “Yarzheit,” which features not only Lou Grant… er, Ed Asner but also comic legend Shelley Berman. In this one, “Our CSIs find themselves investigating a crime that takes them into the world of racism and bigotry, only to uncover a deep, dark secret that dates back to the Holocaust,” teases Lenkov. “Also in this episode, Mac will learn something about his father he never knew.
“And in the season finale” — which also has Craig T. Nelson winding up his arc — “the CSI: NY team is on the trail of a team of sophisticated kidnappers-turned-cop killers,” he continues. “Their crime will forever change the CSI: NY lineup.”

I could cry just thinking about it, really. They have the greatest cast and I dread seeing one of them go. I’d hate to see Flack go, I think I would cry. I don’t want to guess though, I just want to wait for it. I’m anxious for the season finale.

nothing against the character or actress, but i’m hoping it’s Lindsey. like maybe Anna Belknap is looking to take time off to raise her kids. if they kill off Flack…i’m going to lose my friggin’ MIND!!!!!

After watching tonight’s episode, (Point of No Return) I think it’ll be Danny. I hope not. I love this character, too.

OMG!!! It can’t be Flack! I dnt think its gonna be Mac coz apparently Gary Sinise has signed a contract for some many more years! It might be Lydnsey or Danny - hope its not Danny tho! Or Stella! Or Sid! =P

omg, i really hope its not FLACK OR ANGELL!…i will fricking stop watching the show! seriously i think they have a GREAT cast but if they MUST kill someone off, i dont think it’ll bother me as much if Lindsay were to leave cos she really doesn’t show up anyways…im just scared it could be angell cos she IS a recurring character but it wont be flack cos i bet you a good percentage watches the show just because that hot-ass boy is in the show. It should be lindsay or like sid or something, never mind not sid..PLEASE NOT FLACK OR ANGELL - thas all i REALLY care about!

I’m pretty sure its Jessica Angell. I think I heard thats who it is and being that a character is set to play her father, I’m pretty sure she is saying farewell. If Flack starts crying though…..yeah, I’ll be crying too.
